What do I wear to classes?

We expect all students to wear a uniform for classes, as we believe this helps you become orientated into the mood of learning the arts. The following provides a guideline to follow:

GIRLS

  • Stage 1 & 2 - white top, white salwar pants
  • Stage 3 and above - dance saree

BOYS

  • Stage 1 & 2 - white top, white salwar pants

  • Stage 3 and above - white top, panchakatcham (tied)

MUSIC/ OTHER UNIFORMS

Music and all other students (except those enrolled in short-term courses) need to wear white kurta top with SMV logo, if not already wearing one the above uniforms.
